For its first release, ANSWERS, LLC will be sharing a series of essays intended to carefully explain what justice is.
Essentially, I studied metaethics for 5 years--so you don't have to.
The Policy of Action is the set of my conclusions concerning what justice is, and how we can know. It represents what I hope will be a place of consensus for both everyday people and ethicists from all walks of philosophy.
As explained in this release, I am accepting correspondence, and I'm happy to coordinate such correspondence written or verbally, but my preference is for written correspondence so I can document it for myself.
--WTF is metaethics? Ethics itself studies questions like "is eating meat wrong?" or "What principle should guide our decisions?" While I do offer a simple answer to that second question, I also answer metaethical questions, too. Metaethics goes beyond these questions by asking things like, "how are principles that guide our actions possible in the first place, where do they exist?" Chapters 3, 4, and 6 are the most heavily metaethical.
Please do not hesitate to reach out for any questions, either about the book or to start a conversation about right and wrong.
My long-term goal is to form a group of people interested in developing written essays which make cases for or against controversial ethical topics based on the Policy of Action. If you are interested in submitting under my label, let me know.
